Cirrus Flight Training Santa Monica

Someone trying to find Cirrus flight training out of Santa Monica may be a little out of luck, until now that is. A couple years ago, Santa Monica's Cirrus training center closed with no one willing, and due to political turbulence, no one able to reopen. That said, CalAir, Los Angele's premiere Cirrus Training Center, may have been based there over Torrance airport. Don't fret, however, we have excellent news.

CalAir is offering Cirrus Training out of Santa Monica now! We'll gladly come pick you up, or meet you there, for you individually tailored flight lesson. We'll meet anyone who elects to fly out of any other airport for a small ferry charge, but anyone looking to flight train out of Santa Monica we'll meet for FREE! It's close enough to Torrance, our home base, that we've decided to negate the ferry charge.

We love Torrance airport but know that it can be a hassle for some to commute to. It's yet another reason CalAir is Los Angele's customer orientated Cirrus Training Center.

Discounted Cirrus Flight Training in Los Angeles

Flight Training in Cirrus's, especially in Los Angeles, can get a bit pricey at times and flight training in general can be a little difficult to keep up as life has it's little ways of stepping in bringing things to an abrupt halt. Making the same pesky little mistakes in and out of the Los Angeles basin, whether it be botched approaches, letting the technology of your Cirrus run away, or even jumping back in the saddle after it's been awhile can be extremely frustrating.

Well don't give up yet, we've got the right tools to help. Your closer to mastering Los Angeles' skies in a beautiful Cirrus than you think. You be able to work out any kinks your current experiencing, get back up to speed after it's been awhile, and not ding the checkbook while doing so.

Cirrus training overall is a bit more expensive than other aircraft that you may elect to train in or rent, but for most Los Angeles based Cirrus pilots and students it's completely worth the peace of mind to have the technology and safety features aboard. CalAir, Los Angeles' debut flight school, has LA's best Cirrus specific flight simulator available. At less than half the cost of a running engine, it's a great alternative to incorporate into flight training, currency, and more importantly your self competence and proficiency.

Our simulator is FAA approved to log several hours and items toward training and currency requirements. An instrument student can log half of the 40 hour actual/simulated flight time required, IFR pilot's can log approaches for currency, Commercial applicants can log 50 hour's toward the required total hours, and student pilot's can work on all new procedures introduced prior to the actual flight time for greater efficiency. It's truly Los Angeles' best alternative to actual Cirrus flight time.

Call us anytime to inquire, we're more than happy to take you "up" in it!
